My 2008 Dodge Ram went down on me on the way back from Dayton Ohio. After getting back home I started looking around for another motor. Called several places kept getting the runaround. I've seen some of the off reviews on this company, but also many of the great ones. I can say for sure, my experience has been awesome plus some!Engine price was quite good, in fact, made buying a used one a no brainer choice. To know I have a full 3 year warranty on an engine that has been gone thru thoroughly and up to 100k miles, makes the price well worth it.The engine they send is plus many parts others make you pull off your old engine, so the swap is far easier. Some of those extra parts make or break a rebuild, like an oil pump (what caused my other engine to need replacing), new water pump and so on.My engine was shipped and delivered really fast. In fact, way before the shop I have working on it was even ready, but I had 45 days to get the core back with no charge (how can you beat that?)My sales guy was on top of all my emails, in fact, sent me all updates immediately. There were no hold ups, in fact, I lucked out and was getting an engine that was almost done at the time I called, so since the testing all came out good, I got my engine in record speed.I more than highly recommend these folks. Yes, things can happen, yes, things can go wrong, but they stand by their work, they stand by their word (this is missing in so many businesses now), and their prices are actually more than fair for what you get

I researched many companies including Fraser, I went with Powertrain because of Stephen Butz, he was knowledgable, he wasn't trying to sell me something, he was trying to help me during a stressful time and a big decision. From the day I purchased the motor it was in the shop in 4 days time, it is now installed and I am breaking it in. Runs GREAT. The way the motor came and looked was exactly like the pictures showed.
